Ginny will always be remembered for her love and caring for all animals, especially her own four-legged children kitty cats: Cheech, Chong, Lulu and the two strays she fed daily.
"Ginny" Virginia Saunig Roche, age 72 of Cape Coral, FL died peacefully on August 24, 2011, at Hope Hospice with her beloved husband James by her side. Ginny was born in New York City to Dorothy and Philip Saunig. She is survived by her loving husband and partner of 32 years, James, her four sons: Stewart, Eric (Elena), Christopher, and Gregory (Susan); seven grandchildren: Jessy, Corey, Kiera, Kelly Justin, Lauren, and Carolyn, and two sisters Dorothy Borello and Rita Saunig. Ginny was a life long resident of New York City, and worked for NBC and BCW in media advertising for 32 years until they moved to paradise, as she called it 11 years ago.

Ginny was laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery, Queens, NY. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 10 a.m. at St. Andrews Church, Cape Coral, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to Brigid's Crossing Holistic Cat Sanctuary — P.O.
